Francisco Simón studied geography and history at the Complutense University of Madrid. His passion for the guitar led him to study ear training, harmony and music theory at the School of Creative Music in Madrid after receiving a scholarship from A.I.E. Afterwards he moved to the United States and studied at the prestigious “Guitar Intitute of Technology” in Hollywood, California where he received the Best Style Award from the school.
Simón has toured extensively with great Spanish artists such as Duncan Dhu, Antonio Flores and Miguel Ríos. He’s has also worked with renowned international artists such as Tom Jones, The Blues Brothers, Jerry Lee Lewis, Willie de Ville and Collin James among others….
It’s important to note his participation in Spanish television programs such as Caiga quién Caiga, La Noche se Mueve and La Azotea de Wyoming… and as a composer for movie and television series soundtracks.
As a session musician Simón has recorded on more than 40 Cds and has participated in numerous publicity ads. He is also a renowned music producer.
